Off out today for a long-planned round of golf but will be back in time for the England match at 5pm. Depending on how much beer I get through during that I may have a crack at the England v Sri Lanka 20/20 match this evening. Good to have a break after yesterday's loss anyway. Done poorly recently.

Keep up the good work, Betfair Trader. Your proving how a very tidy profit can be made with discipline, some hard-work and persistance! 'Trading' itself is a concept I haven't looked into much and, thus far, have only one real strategy that will make money in the long run. If possible would you be able to explain some of your trading techniques, or is it top secret?

Thanks for the kind words. No it's not top secret (!) and I will get round to explaining at least the basics of what I do if not the more detailed stuff. It's really not rocket science though and anyone who just picks a sport to specialise in and then watches the in running market will start to learn the behaviour of those markets and then see the best opportunities to make a profit.
As I keep saying though there are plenty of others who are far better at this than me, play with larger sums and make more. I just do it part time. It takes the pressure of me having to win, makes those hard decisions to cut my losses a little easier and means I get to watch loads of sport!
